Kings of the Bible

Kings of the Bible

When Daniel interpreted king Nebuchadnezzar's dream, he explained how each of the parts paralleled transitions of the earthly superpowers from head to toe - beginning with the head of gold representing Babylon to the mixed clay and iron feet representing the divided Roman empire. However, Daniel did not stop there. He went further to explain the mystic stone cut with no human hand that hits the statue's feet breaking everything into dust and then filling the entire earth.

In his speech to his three compatriots, Daniel makes it clear that there is a God in heaven who sets up kings and uproots them. This same God gives wisdom to the wise and blesses them with knowledge.
