Story behind the song
The popular Christian song 'Because He Lives' was inspired in the eve of 1970 and written by Gloria and Bill Gaither. The song was composed during a time of social unrest and uncertainty, much like the present world. Despite their own doubts and insecurities, the Gaithers found solace in their faith in Christ, and this inspired the lyrics of the song.
